Welcome to AFGE Local 1744

The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) is the largest federal employee union representing some 600,000 federal and private workers nationwide and overseas. Workers in virtually all functions of government at every federal agency depend upon AFGE for legal representation, legislative advocacy, technical expertise and information services.

AFGE takes seriously its responsibility to help provide good government and private services while ensuring that government and private workers are treated fairly and with dignity. The Union supports a meaningful transformation of federal and private workplace to improve the way services and benefits are delivered to the American public.

AFGE Local 1744 serves employees of the Raytheon Technical Services Company in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are part of AFGE District 6, which serves other locals in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
